goodbye summer....

as we say goodbye to summer 2011, i wanted to share my go-to products that got me through summer:

nars bronzer in "casino": i cannot rave enough about this bronzer. i used it on the daily to give my skin that natural, bronzey flush as well as a fabulous contour.

obsessive compulsive cosmetics lip tars in "grandma" and "momento" (not pictured): after attending imats in pasadena early in the summer, i was able to pick up a few lip tars. grandma is a true coral whereas momento is my perfect pink. i love the staying power as well as how a little does go a long way. however, my tube of momento had an unfortunate accident and decided to explode all over my makeup bag :( i am currently awaiting my replacement which should be coming any day in the mail.

mac mineralize blush in "love joy": i love, love, love this blush!! it gives me the perfect bronzey pink cheeks that i was after all summer.

sephora by opi nail polish in "don't feed the hand models": when i want mannequin hands this is the nail polish i turn to. the perfect pink toned light tan color compliments my skin no matter if i am super dark or my normal color. its a creamy, opaque formula that only requires two coats.

victoria's secret aloha pink body lotion in tropical and juicy: i love victoria's secret lotion because it moisturizes and usually has a yummy scent to accompany it. this one did not disappoint. tropical and juicy is just that. it reminds me of summer nights and yummy fruit.

the body shop body butter duo in vanilla: although a newer addition to my beauty arsenal, this is the perfect vanilla to me. i love how it comes with a lotion for when you don't need as much moisture as well as the cream which is perfect as we transition into fall. it is somehow a little on the greasy side but that fades as it sinks into your skin. the vanilla scent is not overpowering so you can still wear your favorite scent.

enjoy intensive hair and skin treatment: when i saw my stylist in may she gave me a sample of this and i have been hooked ever since! you don't need much product at all and it leaves my hair super soft and manageable even after all of the hot tool abuse it suffers. another plus is that it cuts drying time in half.

what products could you not live without this summer?
xo.

  1. I love Mac's mineralize blushes but man do they not love me back. I'm also a huge fan of Nars but I have yet to try Casino. I hear really great things about it.

p.s. Thanks for following me :D
